A spreading system meters and distributes solid material from a hopper. Granule size, density, flow behavior, moisture and the target application rate affect how the mechanism should be configured and calibrated.

If the mission uses liquid pesticide or foliar fertilizer, review the separate crop spraying drone application. The aircraft may share a platform, but the payload system and operating checks are different.
