Selection guide

Which Agricultural Drone Fits Your Operation?

The right agricultural UAV depends on the mission, payload and operating environment—not simply aircraft size.

20 kg Class

Small & Flexible Operations

Suitable for:

  • Smaller fields
  • Flexible deployment
  • Lower payload requirements
  • Frequent field transitions
Recommended: XJ-A20
30 kg Class

Medium-Capacity Field Operations

Suitable for:

  • Larger field areas
  • Higher liquid capacity
  • Spraying and fertilization
  • Longer operating cycles
Recommended: XJ-A30
50 L Class

High-Capacity Spraying & Spreading

Suitable for:

  • Large-scale operations
  • Higher daily workload
  • Spraying + granular spreading
  • Professional agricultural operations
Recommended: HV50

Published payload, tank and endurance values come from the supplied product materials. Actual performance varies with configuration, payload, route, weather, battery condition and operating practice.

Buying criteria

What to Consider When Choosing an Agricultural Drone

Payload & Tank Capacity

Match payload and tank capacity to field size and required application volume.

Spraying & Spreading Capability

Determine whether the operation requires liquid spraying, granular spreading or both.

Route Planning

Automated route generation can reduce repetitive manual flight operations.

Operating Efficiency

Evaluate coverage requirements, refill frequency and expected daily workload.

Training & Ease of Use

Consider the experience level of operators and the required training process.

Purchase & Operating Cost

Compare aircraft configuration, payload systems, batteries, accessories and long-term operating requirements.

Questions Buyers Usually Need Answered First

The suitable answer depends on the selected product, application and project requirements.

Visit the FAQ page
Which agricultural drone model is suitable for large farms?

The HV50 is suited to large contiguous farms. Its 50 L payload, wide spray width and high operating efficiency help reduce takeoff and landing cycles.

What crops are suitable for the HV50 agricultural drone?

The HV50 supports field crops such as rice, wheat and corn, as well as economic crops including fruit trees and cotton when the route and application settings are matched to the crop.

Can one drone perform spraying and granular spreading?

Yes. By changing the spraying system and spreading module, one HV50 can perform liquid pesticide spraying, seeding and granular fertilizer application.

How many hectares can the HV50 spray per hour?

Standard field spraying efficiency is about 8 to 13 hectares per hour. Actual output varies with field shape, application rate, refill time, weather and operator practice.

What farm size is suitable for the HV50?

Contiguous farms above 500 mu (about 33 hectares) are a practical fit; larger operations can make fuller use of the platform’s payload and workflow advantages.
